Ayita was designed by Ascender's Jim Ford as a versatile upright italic type family with lots of fluidity. It is vibrant and flexible - and works well at both text sizes and headlines. It was originally release in two weights: regular & bold.

After months of work, a new and expanded family is now available: Ayita Pro features 14 fonts ranging from thin to fat with matching italics! Ayita Pro contains a wealth of OpenType typographic features (small caps, swashes, fractions, old style figures) to give designers a nice palette to work with.
