Modern Fonts
The Modern typeface style started showing up towards the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century. Modern fonts are identified by strong vertical characters and contrasting fine hairline serifs. These fonts are heavy, but elegant and perfect for headline and display use. A classic Modern font is Bodoni.
