In 1962, Monotype commissioned renowned Swiss type designer Adrian Frutiger to create Apollo™ Regular, an appealing serif text family. Apollo Regular was Monotype's first type design developed specifically for phototypesetting and litho printing. Although it was designed in the mid-twentieth century, Apollo Regular has a timeless air with a hint of old-world classic style. Apollo Regular is a wonderful alternative to more traditional book faces such as Bembo and Baskerville.
