Bougainville Semi Bold Font

Bougainville SemiBold
Part of Bougainville Family (4 fonts)
The original Bougainville was designed in 1994 and was later expanded to include other weight variants. Bougainville was inspired by the high axis seen in Binner Gothic, the contemporary appearance of Officina Sans, and the compactness of Bodega Sans. Bougainville was named after the renowned eighteenth-century French mathematician and explorer, Louis-Antoine de Bougainville, who was responsible for naming the South Sea Islands and colorful tropical flora he discovered along his journey. The Bougainville fonts are perfect for heading and display use.
