Boutros™ Thuluth is an Arabic typeface available in 1 weight: Light. Boutros Thuluth is based on the usual extensive research by the Boutros group, experts with the aim of serving the Arabic market needs for Arabic typefaces for all bilingual communication materials. The Boutros Thuluth font was created and designed by Mourad and Arlette Boutros. This design is based on the Arabic calligraphy bamboo classical style respecting Arabic calligraphy and cultural rules with the addition of the slanting vertical lines and the floating joining points features to look the nearest to the real Arabic calligraphy style.

Boutros Thuluth contains all the necessary Arabic glyphs as well as the basic Latin part that leaves the choice to the user to decide on its equivalent Latin.

NOTE: You must have an application program that supports Unicode-encoded complex script fonts, such as OpenOffice or Microsoft Office for Windows (Mac Office does not currently support complex script fonts). Adobe Creative Suite users must have the Middle Eastern version, or a plug-in such as IndicPlus.
