The Computer Style Value Pack includes five fonts that would feel at home in any 1960s or 70s Sci-Fi classic. Countdown, a bubbly, high contrast display face is full of letterforms that press against each other along a line of text, creating a futuristic feeling. Linotype Franosch Medium abstracts the forms of the alphabet a bit further, geometrizing them and drawing them out with mono-linear strokes and dots. Linotype Scott Venus is a similar interpretation along this theme. Here, the alphabet's forms have been stylized, and exaggeratedly curved. Again, its letters are made up of mono-linear strokes. Linotype Punkt Regular could be seen as a typical grotesk design that has been completely rasterized, rendering its letterforms as a series of circular points on a grid. Quartz, a classic design from 1970, is made up of letterforms in the style of digital clocks and LCD displays.
