The Desdemona font is a handsome typeface that originated in Vienna many years ago when high-waisted capital alphabets were very fashionable. In the 1960s, John McConnell revived Desdemona when he and Chris Dubber started Face Photosetting, one of the first of European advertising type companies in London. This digital TrueType version was developed by David Berlow of The Font Bureau. Since then, Desdemona has appeared all over the world.
