Closely modeled on Goudy Old Style™, Goudy Catalogue™ Italic was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1919. Based on the original types of beloved American book and type designer Frederic W. Goudy, this version has the Old Style feel and design characteristics of his original (including its famous diamond-shaped punctuation and dots over the ™i™ and ™j™), but is slightly heavier and just a hair wider.
