Handset is a humanist sans serif typeface designed for user interfaces, web sites and on-screen display. Handset Condensed was designed by Ascender Corp's Steve Matteson to be compatible with the Droid family of fonts. Handset was developed to provide legibility and economy, especially important in the UI of consumer devices ranging from mobile phones and GPS units to netbooks and other electronics displays. The Handset Condensed family contains 2 fonts: Handset Condensed and Handset Condensed Bold. Both fonts contain extensive language support including the WGL pan-European character set (Latin 1, Eastern European, Greek, Cyrillic, Turkish and Baltic). Handset is a trademark of Ascender Corporation, Inc. and may be registered in certain jusidictions.
