He was inspired by the openness and clarity of the writing on a grave stone at the Wells Cathedral in England during a visit in April, 2006. He developed a comprehensive alphabet despite starting from a limited set of uppercase letters. Lamont Pro has an organic and light calligraphic feeling. Lamont Pro was designed for both readability in text sizes and playfulness for display work. Lamont Pro has an sense of elegance with its soft rounded forms.
