Sutro Condensed Font Family

Categories: Clarendon
Sutro is based on the square serif types of the mid-nineteenth century, considerably updated with many contemporary touches. Sutro was designed by Jim Parkinson. It vaguely evolved from an Egiziano typeface Jim restored for Roger Black in the early 1970s. The Sutro fonts were named after Adolph Sutro, a wealthy and colorful San Francisco pioneer.
