Tahoma™ Arabic is one of Microsoft's most popular sans serif typeface families. Tahoma™ Arabic consists of two Windows TrueType fonts (regular and bold), and was created to address the challenges of on-screen display, particularly at small sizes in dialog boxes and menus. The Latin, Greek and Cyrillic characters were designed by world renowned type designer Matthew Carter, and hand-instructed by leading hinting expert, Tom Rickner. Tahoma Arabic sets new standards in system font design. Tahoma Arabic is ideal for use in User Interface scenarios and other situations requiring the presentation of information on the screen.

Tahoma Arabic contains an extensive character Set: Latin-1, WGL, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai and Vietnamese. It will appear in the font menu as "Tahoma".

NOTE: You must have an application program that supports Arabic fonts, such as Microsoft Office for Windows or the Middle Eastern version of Adobe Creative Suite. Arabic fonts are not supported in Office 2008 for Mac.
