The new Georgia Pro and Verdana Pro fonts were developed by Ascender, Carter & Cone and The Font Bureau. The original Georgia and Verdana fonts were commissioned by Microsoft and designed by Matthew Carter to address the challenges of on-screen display. The new Georgia and Verdana typeface families include new weights & styles and OpenType typographic features for enhanced typography both on screen and in print.
