Outras Fontes was founded in 2006 and is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Outras Fontes, which means “other fonts”, is an independent digital type foundry. It is managed by Ricardo Esteves Gomes, a talented graphic and type designer and researcher. Outras Fontes strives to capture the creativity, diversity and beauty of the Brazilian people and bring new type designs to the typographic community around the world.
