Daniel Utz lives and works in Stuttgart, Southern Germany. He mainly engages himself in the projects of type design, corporate identity as welll as interactive design. In 2008, he produced the FF Netto font family. After reducing the letter forms to their characteristic basic shapes and omitting all unnecessary details, he successfully adjusted the stroke weight and kept the geometric construction principle, and thereby optimizing the legibility and balance of the typeface. FF Netto is a wonderful sans serif font design.

In addition to alphabet, Daniel created a wide range of icons and arrows, which are very useful for information and orientation systems. He paid special attention to their weights and sizes so as to create perfect combinations with text faces.
