The Jupiter font family simulates the Roman alphabet in Roman times. In designing the Jupiter fonts, Patrick Griffin used historical interpretations of the Roman alphabet, and the Nero letterforms of Friedrich Poppl.

Jupiter contains an extensive set of typographic features. The Jupiter Small Caps and Jupiter Alt fonts do not require advance OpenType feature support. The Jupiter Pro fonts were built to leverage applications with OpenType support.
