Segoe Fonts

Segoe (pronounced "see-go") is Microsoft's family of branding and UI typefaces and can be seen in its products, on its website and in its advertising, packaging and corporate communications. Over thirty separate fonts have been created in a variety of weights and with character sets to accommodate dozens of languages and scripts.

The original Segoe fonts were designed by Steve Matteson to be friendly and legible, with letterforms suitable for screen viewing and for use as corporate identity fonts.

Ascender is pleased to offer various fonts from the Segoe family for purchase and immediate download. Segoe Print and Segoe Script are based on the handwriting of Brian Allen. Segoe TV was created for use by MSNTV, with modified characters to improve on-screen legibility. Segoe UI Mono feature a fixed pitch with excellent legibility and display on-screen and in print. And the Segoe Chess font contains symbols for creating chess diagrams.
