This month we are pleased to announce some great new fonts from a range of type foundries including Ascender, Jos Buivenga, profonts, Tour De Force and Typodermic. Best of all, we have some special discounts on many of these new fonts!

An informal script font from the profonts type foundry, Dominique Pro comes in four versatile weights from light to bold and includes a wonderful selection of OpenType typographic features.

The Geotica font family is the newest release by Jos Buivenga of the exljbris Font Foundry. Geotica uses simple geometrical line elements with an open wireframe for different stroke weights. This lets you create a range of layered effects with open, inline, or engraved appearances. Geotica features such OpenType decorative inspirations as swashes and ornaments.

A special effects font family from Ray Larabie at the Typodermic font foundry, Polarband offers three fonts—Back Regular, Front Regular, and Regular—allowing you to control the inline color effects of the foreground and background characters independently.

Dempster is a brand new display font from the Ascender Originals Collection. Designed by Jim Ford, this geometric sans serif is bold, tall, and strong with some interesting lowercase letters. Dempster contains an extensive pan-European character set, including Greek and Cyrillic.

Laredo Pro is a lively looking handwritten script font family from the profonts type foundry. It includes five different weights and italics.

Sensor's square, techno-modern strokes can create bold, strong headlines, but this font works equally well in smaller point sizes. Designed by Dusan Jelesijevic from Tour De Force.

Typodermic brings us this slightly distressed, gothic-looking all caps typeface. Ebenezer was designed by Ray Larabie with OpenType ligatures that help prevent repeating letters and keep text threads and headlines interesting.

Just in time for "Talk Like A Pirate Day" (September 19), Stenblak is a brand new blackletter typeface designed by Ascender's Terrance Weinzierl. Stenblak comes in two weights, regular and bold. These hand-drawn fonts have a rough texture that makes Stenblak stand out from the pack.

A new take on LCD/LED typefaces, Computechnodigitronic was designed by Ray Larabie with readability in mind. The regular and italic styles both have comprehensive character sets.

Yet another Typodermic creation, the Catwing family of script fonts gives you eye-pleasing results even in all caps. Catwing comes in two styles: regular and fuzz (to simulate a real chalkboard-like appearance).

Silicone is a rounded, futuristic display font family from Typodermic. Silicone is an all capital letters design, featuring a wide range of weights from ultra light to heavy.
